1/5 The coach
Fi McMullan, in her own studio.
2/5 The method
From Pilates to strength, suspension to mobility — the same pair of hands, every session.
3/5 The room
A full apparatus set, booked for you alone.
4/5 The difference
You won’t be walking into a commercial room with twelve strangers watching you work out. The session is yours and yours alone.
5/5 The door · Directions arrive with your booking
01 The studio
A full apparatus set. One client at a time.

The room is booked for you alone. Nobody waits for the reformer, nobody corrects your Footwork from across the floor, and nothing in the session is shared.

02 The method
Pilates for precision, strength work for capacity, suspension for the spine, mobility and breath for everything else.
Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels — exact, progressive, and adjusted to the body in front of me rather than the plan on the page.
STOTT Pilates® · full apparatusLoad is how a body gets its confidence back. Sessions add strength work where it matters, measured against what you did last week, not against anyone else.
ACE Certified Personal TrainerSometimes the floor gets in the way. Aerial Pilates and Yoga Trapeze use suspension for support, challenge and inversion. Most women find their first experience of decompression hard to believe.
SilkSuspension™ · Yoga Trapeze®Range you can use, and breathing that supports it. The quiet part of the session — including down-regulating breathwork for winding down before sleep.
RAD Mobility, Science of Stretching®, Breath Coach03 The coach

Most of the women I work with sit for a living. They arrive with a stiff back, a neck that will not turn, shoulders that have crept up, and a sense that their body has become something to manage rather than something to use.
A session with me starts with watching how you move. From there, I draw on Pilates, strength, suspension, mobility and breath — adjusting the work week by week as your body gets stronger and your movement changes.
I trained with Merrithew® in STOTT Pilates® across the full apparatus, am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and teach SilkSuspension™ and Yoga Trapeze®. Before any of that, I earned a Master's in psychology. It turns out to be useful in a room where the hardest part is often the first visit.

The best instructor I came across. Great combination of fun and intensity. Love the energy! We work on my hip stability and I found it valuable.
Fiona gives clear and concise instructions and guides me through every session with patience. She is a very enthusiastic and encouraging instructor which makes learning from her all the more enjoyable. I look forward to my Pilates session weekly and I can feel the positive changes in my breathing and posture.
Fiona gives clear and easy to follow instructions for the exercises. She is able to observe what I am doing incorrectly, and help me to improve the execution of the exercises. She is warm and friendly, and puts you at ease, so the sessions with Fiona are always enjoyable.
She is a very detailed and observant coach. She paid ample attention to my ailments (mainly stiff back, neck and shoulders), and introduced a combination of myofascial Pilates and Yoga Trapeze with personal demonstrations, clear explanations and assurance. I was surprised that the stiffness and aches in my back had instant relief.
